Arsenal are reportedly considering a move for Inter Milan's French international forward Marcus Thuram, as they seek to bolster their attacking options in the summer transfer window.
According to Italian outlet Tuttosport, the Gunners are considering a potential bid for the 27-year-old striker, who has been in impressive form this season, scoring 13 goals and providing seven assists in 24 Serie A games.
Thuram's current contract with Inter Milan includes an €85m (£71m) release clause, which could prove to be a significant hurdle for Arsenal's pursuit. However, the Frenchman's impressive performances have caught the attention of several top European clubs, including Manchester United and Tottenham.
As per Metro UK, Inter Milan's website describes Thuram as an "electrifying entertainer" who "drives his team on and off the pitch." The French striker joined Inter Milan as a free agent in the summer of 2023, following a successful stint with Borussia Mönchengladbach.
Arsenal are also believed to be considering other strikers, including Thuram's Inter Milan teammate Lautaro Martinez. However, with several top clubs vying for their signatures, the Gunners may face stiff competition in their pursuit of either player.
As the summer transfer window approaches, Arsenal's interest in Thuram and Martinez will likely continue to be a major talking point. With the club seeking to strengthen their attacking options, it remains to be seen whether they will be able to secure the services of either player.
