Manchester United's January transfer window has officially ended, and it's been a relatively quiet period for the Red Devils. Despite their struggles this season, sitting 13th in the league, the club has only made two significant signings, according to MIRROR.
Ruben Amorim's first signing as Manchester United manager was Patrick Dorgu, a defender from Lecce, who joined the club for £29.2 million on a contract until 2030. Dorgu was followed by Ayden Heaven, a young defender from Arsenal, who signed a deal until 2029 and has been promoted to the first-team squad.
Heaven expressed his excitement about joining Manchester United, as per MIRROR, stating: "I am incredibly proud to join Manchester United. I'm grateful to everyone who helped make this dream a reality. I'll be giving everything to continue my development and become the best player that I can be."
On the other hand, Manchester United has seen a significant exodus of players, with ten departures throughout the month. Notable exits include Marcus Rashford, who joined Aston Villa on loan until the end of the season, and Antony, who completed a loan move to Real Betis.
Other players who have left the club on loan include Dan Gore (Wigan Athletic), Ethan Wheatley (Walsall), Joe Hugill (Carlisle), Ethan Ennis (Doncaster Rovers), Ethan Williams (Cheltenham Town), Jack Kingdon (Rochdale), Sam Mather (Tranmere), and Louis Jackson (Tranmere).
