In a recent interview with BBC Hausa's as per Politics Nigeria, Mahangar Zamani, Bello El-Rufai, son of former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai and current House of Representatives Member representing Kaduna North Federal Constituency, shared his thoughts on the ongoing rift between his father and Governor Uba Sani.
Bello expressed his disappointment over the public feud between the two prominent politicians, describing it as "unsettling." He attributed the fallout to the natural ups and downs of life, likening it to the challenges faced in marriages and friendships.
While emphasizing the importance of maintaining relationships, Bello revealed that he was not privy to the details of the rift and only became aware of the situation through external sources. He also addressed the investigations launched by Governor Sani's government into his father's administration, stating that probes can be beneficial if conducted with transparency and integrity.
Bello cautioned against using investigations as a means to humiliate or settle personal scores, emphasizing that such actions can have consequences. He also made it clear that reconciling the two politicians is not his responsibility, as his focus is on serving the people of Kaduna North.
