According to renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, AC Milan is optimistic about securing a permanent deal for João Félix beyond his current short-term loan. Despite the absence of a buy option clause in the loan agreement with Chelsea, Milan's director Geoffrey Moncada is confident that a deal can be struck in June.

"We have an excellent relationship with Chelsea, and even without a buy option clause, there's a chance to make it happen in June," Moncada revealed. "It will depend on us and on João, of course, but it's a possibility.", Moncada's comments suggest that Milan is willing to negotiate with Chelsea to secure Félix's services on a permanent basis.
