In a recent interview with Canal 11, Cristiano Ronaldo, who celebrates his birthday today February 5, has explicitly stated that he will not return to his boyhood club, Sporting CP, before retiring from professional football, as per Fabrizio Romano.
Ronaldo, who began his illustrious career at Sporting CP, expressed his affection for the Portuguese club, saying, "I love watching Sporting games, it's my team!" However, he emphasized that a return to Sporting would not make sense at this stage of his career.

"My career started in Portugal, and it's not because I don't like Portuguese football or there's no quality," Ronaldo clarified. "I just think everything has a time and a limit, and so I never thought about a Sporting return."
