Manchester United have reached a verbal agreement to sign Patrick Dorgu from Leece, according to renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano. The deal, worth €30 million plus €5 million in potential add-ons, is expected to be finalized within the next 24 hours.

Dorgu, a 20-year-old left-back, has been in impressive form for Leece despite the club's struggles in Serie A. His versatility and attacking instincts have caught the attention of Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim, who sees him as a perfect fit for his 3-4-2-1 formation.

The Danish youngster's adaptability is a significant asset, having played as a left-back, left midfielder, and even right winger. His ability to play on both flanks will provide Amorim with options in the wing-back positions, where United have struggled with injuries and consistency.

While Leece are under no immediate financial pressure to sell, they recognize Dorgu's value and are willing to listen to offers. With Chelsea and other major European clubs also interested, Manchester United have moved quickly to secure the youngster's signature.

The transfer is subject to document checks and formalities, but it's expected to be completed soon. Once finalized, Dorgu will become Amorim's first signing as Manchester United manager.
