The highly anticipated transfer saga involving Liverpool target Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has taken a significant turn, with reports emerging that the Georgian winger has agreed personal terms with Paris Saint-Germain, according to Liverpool.com This development comes after Kvaratskhelia informed Napoli manager Antonio Conte of his desire to leave the Serie A club.

Conte revealed that Kvaratskhelia had reiterated his intention to depart Napoli, a stance he initially expressed during the summer transfer window. The Napoli manager expressed disappointment at the player's decision, citing the efforts he had made to integrate Kvaratskhelia into the team's project.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reported that PSG has successfully negotiated all aspects of Kvaratskhelia's contract, which will see his salary increase by four or five times. This significant pay rise is likely to be a major factor in Kvaratskhelia's decision to join the French giants.

Meanwhile, Liverpool's search for reinforcements continues, with the Reds reportedly having an approach rejected for Bologna center-back Sam Beukema. Arne Slot, a known admirer of the 26-year-old, had previously attempted to sign Beukema during his tenure as Feyenoord manager. However, Bologna has insisted that no key players will be leaving the club during the current transfer window.

Although Liverpool's pursuit of Kvaratskhelia appears complicated by PSG's agreement with the player, the Reds are likely to continue monitoring the situation. With the transfer window still open, Liverpool may yet revive their interest in alternative transfer targets.
