Cristiano Ronaldo's current club Al-Nassr has secured the services of Nigerian striker Victor Boniface from Bayer Leverkusen in a €60 million deal. According to reports from Florian Plttenberg, Boniface will earn a net salary of €15 million per season.
The 24-year-old striker completed his medical examinations, paving the way for his transfer. Boniface's impressive debut season at Leverkusen, where he scored 21 goals and provided 10 assists in 34 appearances, caught the attention of Al-Nassr.
Leverkusen head coach Xabi Alonso confirmed the ongoing transfer discussions, stating that the team is preparing for their final Champions League group-stage match without Boniface.
With Boniface's departure, Leverkusen has begun searching for a replacement striker. One of their top targets is Brighton and Hove Albion's Evan Ferguson, who has also drawn interest from several Premier League clubs.
